Job Description: We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage sourcing activities and build a strong portfolio of suppliers and manufacturers for our unique product range. The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective school furniture and supplies to our esteemed clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Source, negotiate, and procure high-quality furniture and educational supplies from reliable manufacturers and suppliers.
2. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with our company's standards and financial goals.
3. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry's new trends and advancements.
4. Regularly review supplier performance to ensure contractual compliance and manage relationships with key suppliers.
5. Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
6. Anticipate potential problems and risks and apply effective mitigation methods.
7. Prepare and manage contracts with suppliers and manufacturers.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
9. Forge long-term relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the educational supplies or furniture industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to network and collaborate effectively.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as an aptitude in reading the market.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
6. Proficiency in procurement software, such as SAP MM, Oracle, etc.
7. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle pressure.
8. Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
9. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
