We are looking for an experienced Procurement and Operations Manager to join our school’s administrative team. This role involves managing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and the smooth functioning of school operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and operational management within an educational environment or similar setting, ensuring that all supplies, facilities, and services meet high-quality standards and budget requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement plans to meet the school’s needs, including sourcing educational materials, facility supplies, and other essential services.
  • Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate maintenance and operations across school facilities, ensuring they meet safety and cleanliness standards for an optimal learning environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, track stock levels of critical items, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Work closely with finance to monitor procurement budgets, optimize spending, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Support logistics for school events and activities, managing resources, supplies, and setup to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify operational needs and improve support services for the entire school community.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and procurement regulations, maintaining accurate records of procurement and operational activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; certification in Procurement or Operations Management is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and operations management, preferably in a school or educational institution.
  • Familiarity with school operations, including facilities management, vendor relations, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software.
