A distinguished IB school in Sharjah is looking to hire highly a qualified and adept Principal to provide leadership, direction and oversight to the Board approved school instructional and support programs of the school. This includes the direct supervision of instructional and support administrative and teaching staff, student management and supervision, facilities operations and fiscal oversight of the budget.
The main roles and responsibilities of the Principal include but are not limited to the following:
- Instructional leadership
- Management of staff
- Management of facilities and operations
- Parent, Student, Staff, Administrator, District and Community Relations
- Supervision, Preparation, and Administration of Reports and Regulations
- Extra and Co-Curricular Activities
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Minimum of a Masters degree from an internationally accredited college or University;
- Training in instructional supervision and evaluation;
- Training in organization strategic or operational planning; training in organizational development and facilitation; background and experience in constructing school master schedules and calendars;
- Training in personnel selection, recruitment, retention and dismissal;
- Knowledge and experience in proper school finance and accounting techniques; training and experience in student assessment;
- Current license or certification from governmental agency as a principal/headmaster/educational administrator;
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three years as a principal, headmaster, or head of school;
- Minimum of three years as a teacher;
