Position: Librarian

Gulf Education is urgently seeking a dedicated Librarian to join a team of educators in Dubai. As a Librarian, you will play a vital role in managing our library resources and providing support to students and faculty.

Responsibilities:

• Manage library collections, including acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of materials
• Assist patrons in locating resources and conducting research
• Organize library events, such as book clubs, author visits, and literacy programs
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curriculum activities
• Maintain library systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information
• Monitor library budget and make recommendations for resource allocation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Previous experience working in a library setting, preferably in an educational institution
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with library management systems and digital resources
