A technical school in Al Ain is seeking an IT Instructor for the upcoming academic year, beginning in August 2024. This role will focus on guiding students aged 16-18 in the field of Game Development.
Job Specifications:
- Responsible for planning, managing and improving the learning of students, working with other team members.
- In collaboration with the team to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching learning and assessment strategies.
- To manage the learning of the students and collaborate with other teachers.
- To manage all facilities and actives related to achieve student learning.
- To play a leadership role in role-modelling behaviour, attitudes and learning behaviours for students.
- To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with programme quality assurance processes.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Excellent oral and written English essential
- IELTS 7.0 for non-native English speakers is an advantage but not required
- Arabic language is an advantage but not required
Experience Required:
- Practical experience in a relevant area of in a relevant area of programming of application by various programming languages and platforms e.g. C#, C++ Java, Maya, Arduino, Unity etc.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant vocational teaching/training with experience of qualifications delivery.
Ability to teach the following:
- Ability to teach the following:
- Programming using block diagrams
- Programming in C#, C++
- Arduino based equipment
- Programming of 2D and 3D gaming applications
Preferred:
- Work experience in GCC region or similar location.
