Hiring Instructional Coaches in the Northern Emirates - UAE

We are hiring knowledgeable and passionate Instructional Coaches to join a governmental educational institution in the United Arab Emirates - Northern Emirates. The instructional coach will engage in initiatives related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment that aim to raise the quality and standards of education in KG-G4 public schools in the UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development of an early education curriculum, standards, and learning outcomes for K grade 4.
  • Development of curriculum instructional guides, materials, and resources for teachers in KG-Grade 4.
  • Coaching and training teachers and academic leaders in the design and implementation of effective unit and lesson plans.
  • Development of assessment tools and methods to gauge and evaluate student progress and attainment in KG-G4.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify their professional development needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to support teachers in improving their instructional practices.
  • Offer constructive feedback and modeling of effective teaching strategies.
  • Assist in the development of individualized professional growth plans for teachers.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions focused on pedagogy, curriculum design, and instructional technology.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports on coaching activities and outcomes.
  • Adjust coaching strategies as needed to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or any related field; A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Teaching Certification, Diploma, and License.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of successful teaching experience in Primary stages.
  • Experience as an Academic Instructional Coach, Mentor, Head of Department, or Coordinator in the Primary stages is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, pedagogy, and educational technology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of educators.
