We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate ICT Teacher to join our educational institution in the United Arab Emirates. As a Computer/IT Teacher, you will have an exciting

opportunity to educate and inspire students in the field of technology. Your role will involve equipping students with essential computer skills, fostering their digital literacy, and preparing them for the rapidly evolving world of technology.

You will develop and deliver engaging computer/IT lesson plans and activities that align with the UAE Ministry of Education's curriculum standards. You will introduce students to various technology tools, software applications, and programming languages, nurturing their logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity. By incorporating emerging technologies and trends, you will ensure students stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of computer science.

Your responsibilities will include guiding students in developing digital research skills, effective information retrieval techniques, and critical thinking abilities. You will emphasize responsible and ethical use of technology, teaching students about cyber safety, privacy, and digital citizenship. Assessing and evaluating students' progress in computer/IT skills will be essential, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching certification/license in Computer Science/IT Education from the UAE Ministry of Education or an approved equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE Ministry of Educations curriculum and guidelines.
• Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
• Proficiency in teaching computer literacy, coding, software applications, internet safety, and other relevant topics.
• Familiarity with programming languages and concepts, such as Python, Java, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in using technology tools, software applications, and online platforms for instruction and assessment.
• Adherence to professional ethics and a commitment to continuous professional development in computer science/IT education.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong instructional abilities, including the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Proficient coding skills and the ability to guide students in logical thinking and problem-solving.
• Effective classroom management skills to create an engaging and productive learning environment.
