Job Title: Head of Primary

Gulf Education is seeking a visionary and experienced Head of School to provide strong leadership and strategic direction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, capable of fostering a positive learning environment, and committed to the overall development of students and the school community.

Responsibilities:

As the Head of School, you will:

• Lead site-based planning to align with the mission and goals of the school.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, instructional strategy development, and assessment design for the assigned program level.
• Supervise and direct vertical curriculum and instruction articulation with multi-grade level teams.
• Implement the school approved curriculum, ensuring academic rigor and standards-based instruction.
• Provide leadership in establishing and articulating the school's mission to students, staff, parents, and the school community.
• Direct a differentiated staffing design, create the Annual Master Schedule, and prepare staffing reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial, personnel, and operational policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular meetings with school staff, lead staff development programs, and measure staff performance.
• Participate in staff selection, recommend appointments, and lead teacher and staff assignments.
• Exercise decisive leadership in crisis situations and conduct annual staff surveys.

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of successful experience as an assistant principal or similar role; principal/headmaster experience preferred.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience.
• Master’s degree from an internationally accredited college or university.
• Training in instructional supervision, organizational planning, development, and facilitation.
• Background in constructing school master schedules, personnel selection, recruitment, and student assessment.
• Current license or certification as a principal/headmaster/educational administrator.
