A technical school in Al Ain is hiring an Electrical Technology Instructor who specializes in principles of electrical engineering, sustainable power generation, domestic installations, and basic electrical and electronics skills such as soldering.

Job Specifications:

• Responsible for planning, managing, and improving the learning of students, working with other team members.
• In collaboration with the team to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching-learning, and assessment strategies.
• To manage the learning of the students and collaborate with other teachers.
• To manage all facilities and activities related to achieving student learning.
• To play a leadership role in role-modeling behavior, attitudes, and learning behaviors for students.
• To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with programmed quality assurance processes.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma in the relevant area.
• Skilled worker with proven practical work experience
• Excellent Oral and Written Arabic and English essential.
• Excellent oral and written English essential. English Language Certificates is an advantage.
• Arabic Language an advantage

Experience Required:

• Practical experience in a relevant area of Electrical Technology
• Minimum two years of relevant vocational teaching/training experience.
• Among others, the ability to teach some of the following:
  • Principals of electrical engineering
  • Sustainable power generation
  • Domestic installations
  • Basic electrical and electronics skills such as soldering etc.
• Dedicated, reliable team player with good intercultural skills and a sound awareness of gender issues. A good understanding of the cultural background in the UAE
• IT skills, Microsoft office, relevant technical software
• Practical skills in the relevant area including up-to-date legal requirements and Health & safety regulations.

Preferred:

• Work experience in GCC region or similar location.
