We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our educational furniture products and services to schools and educational institutions. This role requires a strong focus on building relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and driving business growth within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target schools and educational institutions as potential customers.
  2. Identify and prioritize sales opportunities by researching and understanding the needs and preferences of schools and institutions regarding furniture requirements or any educational serivces.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including school and institutions administrators, principals, and procurement officers.
  4. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our educational furniture solutions.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and sales collateral tailored to the education sector.
  6. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential customers and stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities.
  7. Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in line with customer requirements and company policies.
  8. Negotiate terms and pricing with customers to secure profitable sales agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  9. Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and support to schools throughout the sales process, including pre-sale inquiries, post-sale follow-up, and after-sales service.

Requirements:

  • Bacholers degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of Experience in sales or business development, preferably within the education sector or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the education sector, including knowledge of school procurement processes and decision-making dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
