A fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Ras Al Khaimah is urgently looking for an Assistant Head for Girls School. The school provides a stimulating and inquiry-based environment to students which encourages them to think globally and to be caring and open-minded to others while maintaining and respecting their own national identity. It was established in 2015 and currently welcomes students from KG through Grade 12. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership within the secondary year groups and will play a key role in striving for excellence at all levels.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
- At least five (5) years of successful teaching experience
- At least five (5) years of relevant leadership experience as an Assistant Principal or Assistant Headmaster
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in education or leadership from an internationally accredited college or university
- IB experience preferred
- Must have training in instructional supervision and evaluation
- Must have training in organization strategic or operational planning
- Must have training in organizational development and facilitation
- Background and experience in constructing school master schedules and calendars
- A background in personnel selection, recruitment, retention, and dismissal
- Experience in student assessment;
- A current license or certification from a governmental agency as a principal/headmaster/educational administrator;
