A technical school in Al Ain is seeking an Architecture & Building Construction Instructor who is focused on imparting expertise in bricklaying, concrete construction, tile setting, mosaics, and plastering to students aged 16-18.

Job Specifications:

• Responsible for planning, managing, and improving the learning of students, working with other team members.
• In collaboration with the team to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching-learning, and assessment strategies.
• To manage the learning of the students and collaborate with other teachers.
• To manage all facilities and activities related to achieving student learning.
• To play a leadership role in role-modeling behavior, attitudes, and learning behaviors for students.
• To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with programmed quality assurance processes.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma in the relevant area.
• Skilled worker with proven practical work experience
• Excellent oral and written English essential. English Language Certificates is an advantage.
• Arabic Language an advantage

Experience Required:

• Practical experience in a relevant area of Architecture and Building Construction.
• Diploma or Bachelor in a relevant field
• Minimum two years of relevant vocational teaching/training experience.
• Among others, the ability to teach the following:
  • Bricklaying, concrete constructions
  • Tile Setting, mosaics.
  • Plastering
• Dedicated, reliable team player with good intercultural skills and a sound awareness of gender issues. A good understanding of the cultural background in the UAE
• IT skills and Microsoft office
• Practical skills in the relevant area including up-to-date legal requirements and Health & safety regulations.
• Creativity and flexibility to work with young people and show them the world of Architecture and Building Construction.

Preferred:

• Work experience in GCC region or similar location.
