Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Technical Facilities Supervisor (Industrial Engineer) to join a premier technical school in Al Ain and Mohammed bin Zayed City campuses. The successful candidate will oversee the operational management, safety compliance, and maintenance of various specialized vocational workshops. This position requires a proactive professional with experience in industrial engineering, equipment management, and facility supervision to support technical education delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, and safety of equipment and machinery used across vocational workshops.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Oversee installation, calibration, and testing of new and existing equipment.
- Develop and manage equipment-related Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), spare parts, and consumables inventory.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and life cycle reports for all major equipment.
- Ensure all technical areas comply with local and international Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, maintain MSDS records, and organize emergency response training.
- Manage the maintenance of infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance needs.
- Monitor and manage cleanliness, utilities, and operational support services (e.g., cleaning, security, pest control).
- Maintain up-to-date inventories, implement asset tagging systems, and manage procurement documentation.
- Develop and manage maintenance and operations budgets and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure technical readiness supports curriculum delivery.
- Stay informed about technological developments relevant to vocational and technical training.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in workshop/facility management or a similar technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, HSE compliance, and asset management.
- Proficient in maintenance management tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (Bilingual).
Desired Certifications
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) – SME.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) – SMRP.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher).
- Certified Technology Manager (CTM) – ATMAE.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
