Key Responsibilities

• Teach the principles of smart home technology, including automation systems, IoT integration, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Develop and deliver practical lessons in designing and managing smart home systems, such as lighting, security, HVAC, and appliances.
• Introduce students to relevant smart home platforms and software tools used to control and monitor home environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in smart home technology and energy-efficient solutions.
• Provide hands-on learning experiences, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of smart home devices.
• Prepare students for industry certifications related to smart home technologies and IoT systems.
• Assess students through projects, practical assignments, and written exams.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Smart Home Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching smart home technology or a related subject.
• Proficiency in home automation systems, IoT integration, and smart home management platforms.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
