The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of cybersecurity, including network security, ethical hacking, data protection, and security protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Instruct students on cybersecurity principles, including network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and digital forensics.
• Develop and teach practical lessons that focus on real-world cybersecurity scenarios and challenges.
• Incorporate tools and platforms commonly used in the cybersecurity industry, such as firewalls, SIEM systems, and penetration testing tools.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, integrating them into lessons.
• Conduct cybersecurity simulations and lab exercises to build hands-on experience.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and practical projects.
• Foster a strong understanding of security protocols, risk management, and data privacy regulations.
• Advise students on cybersecurity career pathways and professional certifications.
• Work with colleagues to integrate cybersecurity concepts into cross-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching cybersecurity or a related subject.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption methods.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
