The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various aspects of tourism, hospitality management, and customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Instruct students on topics such as customer service, hotel management, travel planning, and event management.
- Create engaging lesson plans that blend theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in tourism and hospitality.
- Supervise and guide students through field trips, industry visits, and hands-on experiences.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in the tourism and hospitality industry, integrating them into lessons.
- Evaluate students through tests, projects, and practical activities, providing constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for careers in tourism and hospitality through career advice and guidance on industry certifications.
- Encourage teamwork and group projects to build interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ensure students follow health, safety, and professional standards in practical sessions.
- Teach students about global tourism trends and cultural awareness.
- Work closely with other faculty members to integrate tourism and hospitality concepts across the curriculum.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching tourism and hospitality or a related subject.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and tools.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
