Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Primary FSH-Concept Technician to support our early childhood education programs in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the technical aspects of the FSH-Concept (Foundation Stage and Holistic Development) curriculum. This role involves setting up educational equipment, maintaining classroom technologies, and supporting the development and execution of hands-on learning activities that are essential for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support FSH-Concept Programs: Assist teachers in implementing the FSH-Concept curriculum by setting up and maintaining educational technologies, materials, and resources.
  • Prepare Learning Tools and Equipment: Ensure that all technical equipment and classroom materials are in proper working order before each lesson. Set up, troubleshoot, and repair educational equipment used for hands-on activities.
  • Assist in Classroom Management: Support the teacher in setting up learning stations, educational games, and experiments that require technical equipment or tools, helping ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Maintain and Repair Equipment: Perform regular checks on classroom equipment, including educational tools, computers, and audiovisual aids, and perform necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Monitor Classroom Technologies: Oversee the use of digital tools and educational technologies in the classroom, ensuring they are working properly and assisting in any technical issues that arise during lessons.
  • Support Classroom Activities: Assist with hands-on learning sessions by managing and preparing resources and equipment for experiments, construction projects, and other engaging activities that support student learning.
  • Ensure Safety Protocols: Help ensure that all technical equipment and materials are used safely by students, following the safety guidelines for young learners and technical equipment.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Staff: Work closely with primary educators and other school staff to provide support for both curriculum-related activities and general classroom management.
  • Assist in Setting Up Learning Spaces: Help arrange and prepare the classroom environment, including the setup of learning stations and activity areas that align with the FSH-Concept curriculum.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to teachers when they integrate digital platforms, interactive learning systems, or other educational technologies into lessons.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Early Childhood Education, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with educational equipment or supporting teachers in a classroom setting, preferably in early childhood or primary education.
  • Basic knowledge of early childhood education principles, particularly those related to the FSH-Concept or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with technical tools and educational technology commonly used in classrooms for young learners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, assisting teachers and staff as needed.
