Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tourism Trainer to join our team at a leading technical school in MBZ, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs related to tourism, hospitality, and customer service. This role involves educating students on the various aspects of the tourism industry, including travel operations, destination management, hospitality services, and sustainable tourism practices. The trainer will ensure that students acquire the essential skills needed to excel in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Deliver Tourism Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs covering travel operations, customer service, destination management, tourism marketing, and sustainable tourism practices.
- Provide Hands-On Training: Lead practical training sessions that simulate real-world tourism scenarios, such as customer interactions, travel planning, and destination management.
- Incorporate Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the tourism and hospitality industries, ensuring that training content is relevant and up-to-date.
- Monitor and Assess Student Progress: Track and evaluate students' performance, offering constructive feedback and additional support to ensure that they meet industry standards.
- Industry Collaboration: Collaborate with industry professionals and partners to enhance the learning experience and ensure students are prepared for careers in tourism and hospitality.
- Promote Sustainable Practices: Teach students about the importance of sustainability in tourism, including eco-friendly travel options and responsible tourism practices.
- Support Career Development: Help students develop skills for successful careers in tourism, including communication, customer service, and operational management.
- Maintain Learning Materials: Regularly update course materials to reflect new industry practices, destinations, and tourism technologies.
- Assist in the Planning of Educational Excursions: Organize and support field trips, site visits, and hands-on learning experiences for students to enhance their practical knowledge of the tourism industry.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tourism or hospitality roles, preferably in training or educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of the tourism industry, including travel operations, hospitality services, and customer service excellence.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with sustainable tourism practices and trends.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) or other training software is a plus.
