Job Overview
We are seeking an HSE Admin to join our team at a leading Technical School in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department, ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are effectively implemented and maintained. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy working environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HSE department, including managing documentation, reports, and records.
  • Assist in the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate safety training programs and assist in organizing drills and safety awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure that all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers and first-aid kits, are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Assist in investigating accidents and incidents, maintaining records, and reporting findings.
  • Ensure that all HSE-related documents are filed and accessible for audits or inspections.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to monitor and address any environmental health and safety concerns.
  • Support the HSE team in preparing and submitting compliance reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Keep the school community informed about health and safety updates, including newsletters and bulletins.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in HSE or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office management software.
