Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher (IBDP)to join our prestigious American IB School in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics at the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) level, preparing students for their IB exams while fostering a strong understanding of the principles of physics. The IBDP Physics Teacher will use inquiry-based teaching methods to encourage students to explore and apply their knowledge of physics in real-world contexts. This role requires someone who can inspire students, encourage critical thinking, and make complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging.

Curriculum Information
Our school follows an American curriculum integrated with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. The teacher will guide students through topics such as mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, and thermodynamics. The focus is on developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and practical skills through hands-on experiments, projects, and assessments.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field (aligned with SPEA requirements).
• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license.
• At least 5 years of experience teaching Physics at the IBDP level or within an international curriculum.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong understanding of the IBDP Physics curriculum, including assessment and teaching methods.
