Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher (MYP) to join our prestigious American IB School in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP), fostering a strong command of the English language, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. The teacher will create an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment within the framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP.

Curriculum Information
The school follows an American curriculum with the integration of the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. The MYP English curriculum focuses on enhancing students' language skills, reading comprehension, writing, and literary analysis through an inquiry-based approach. Teachers will guide students in exploring a variety of literary texts and developing their writing and oral communication skills through structured and creative activities.

Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on English, or a related field.
• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license.
• At least 5 years of experience teaching English at the MYP level or within an international curriculum.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of the MYP English curriculum and assessment practices.
